These are two extraordinary pieces of artwork created by two Y6’s Elina & Veronika! Just before Christmas, the Year 6’s were learning how to draw optical illusions with only a piece of paper and a pencil! Their inspiration for these drawings were from the optical illusionist Bridget Riley. Both of these creative artists have really captured the essence of optical illusions! Last rotation of the EC’s there was a class to help you paint in a Bob Ross style. Amelia in Y7 painted an awesome painting based on the Southwest Serenity by Bob Ross. Amelia has a real talent for painting! The picture shows a beautiful mountain range with palm trees and a path with a delightful sunsetting sky in the background. And it only took her 3 lessons to paint! Congrats on the amazing piece Amelia!
