I have been passionate about Music throughout my whole life, through performance at a younger age and now through composing and teaching too. I trained as a Classical guitarist from the age of 8 and went on to study the instrument further at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where I won various competitions and was nominated for Principles prize. I regularly give recitals and performances as a solo musician and as a session musician.
After studying at the Conservatoire I enrolled for a PGCE and loved being in the classroom. I have been teaching for 12 years now and have worked as a Teacher, Head of Department and as a Head of Faculty. It is my pleasure to now work at the British International School of Marbella and to help inspire, support and develop outstanding young musicians here.
Outside of the classroom, I love cycling and living an outdoor lifestyle.
