I was born in England, but grew up in Norway. After finishing high school, I travelled to Newcastle University in the UK to study English Literature and Creative Writing with an additional academic interest in film.
I am passionate about modern issues in the world and I aim to inspire students to take an active interest in developing their own opinions and beliefs in our society. I also deeply enjoy English and I encourage students to see how versatile and vital English is as a subject.
I believe having a wide variety of interests is essential for an enjoyable life and I enjoy activities such as musical theatre, sailing, dance, digital media and music. I also enjoy reading, and whilst I will give any genre a go, my favourite is fiction and fantasy!
