A Christmas Carol Concert to Remember

What a lovely start to the month of December we have had here at BISM.

Here at the Music department we feel quite Christmassy now!

We were so proud of the children in the lower and upper school Christmas concerts.

The Lower School children wowed us with their fantastic singing and brilliant ukulele playing. I can't believe they have learned how to play so well in just one term! How lovely it was to see some parent participation when Miss Conlan left some instruments under their seats; it was quite exciting!

The Upper School children did us proud with their concert. They were all so professional and I was overjoyed to see them shine on stage. Year 7 were fabulous with their glockenspiel rendition of Walking in the air; bravo!

And I know Mr Kuhn was not only surprised but extremely impressed with the song Year 5 made for him; how he laughed!

Choirs of both lower and upper school brought tears to our eyes as usual and I think a great day was had by all so well done again to all the children for all their hard work.
