Reception Graduation

I want to be a goalkeeper when I grow up. I want to be a taekwondo teacher. I want to be a doctor. I want to be a police officer.

These are just some of the occupations the wonderful children of the Reception class graduating from Foundation Stage into Primary School want to do when they are older, as they so brilliantly demonstrated as part of our Speech Day on Thursday 30th June.

Following their excellent efforts using the technique of call and response to the song “I can”, each Reception child told the suitably impressed parents about their dream job when they are older. Obviously some of the children´s dreams and desires might change in the years ahead, as the children grow and develop, but as the call and response goes, we know they can be whatever they want to be if they work hard at it!
