Inter-School Carol Competition

On Friday 11th December, two choirs from BSM performed at a Christmas Carol competition in the Old Town against eight local schools. They were entered into two categories, the under 8s choir who sang Rocking around the Christmas Tree and the 9-11 year olds who sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town which was accompanied with their Ukuleles. BSM won two prizes – the 9-11s winning the `best song in a second language´ and the under 8´s coming first overall with four of the judges giving them 10 out of 10. It was a very proud day for BSM and the children in the choir. We arrived back at school with a trophy and 100 euros. Well done to all involved!
