SATs Results 2012-13

Across the UK children aged 6 and 11 sit the Standard Assessment Tests (or SATs), which assess levels of English (Reading and Writing) and Maths.

Our Year 2 (Age 6) students performed impressively well across all three subject areas with the majority of the students achieving level 2B which is the UK target at this age. A large percentage of our students actually achieved level 2A which is the highest level attainable at this age and is comparable with the top 20% of the UK ability range.

In all BSF schools that offer a Year 6 (age 11) this age range of pupils have performed equally well, where 94% of those pupils were considered to be at or above the UK expected standard.
